MEG Engineers provided Construction Materials Testing and Geotechnical Engineering Services on the new Harlingen Convention Center, a 13,500 sq.ft. 2-story convention center with multi- purpose events room, several conference rooms, exhibition spaces, and multi-classroom settings for adults and children. Work included site work, selective demolition, concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, thermal & moisture protection, openings, finishes, specialties, stationary loading dock equipment, electric traction elevators, fire suppression, MEP, communications, fire alarm system, exterior improvements, and utilities.
